Your community needs
what only you can give.

Samarth is inviting a small group of seasoned citizens to lead in their community. Not a volunteer slot. A genuine leadership role in India's largest senior network, with the freedom to make it as large a part of your life as you wish.

Samarth's mission is to change the way Indians age: to bring peace of mind and happiness to seniors, and help them live a full life with dignity, health, safety, and independence.

Community Leaders are the people who make that mission real, community by community, city by city, region by region.

Est. 2016

In 2016, we set out to build a forum that seniors would call their own. Shaped by their ideas, responsive to their needs, and built on one belief: that age should never come in the way of life. A place where experience is honoured, where connections run deep, and where every member finds something worth looking forward to.

We did not build this for seniors. We built it with them.

Today Samarth Community includes 40,000+ seasoned citizens across India. We have helped each other get more out of life, and also those around us with initiatives like Multi Activity Centres for Elderly, partnering with government to launch and run National Helpline for Elderly in multiple states. You could help take it to the next level, and shape how a generation of Indians age, with grace, dignity, and joy.

Three reasons it will be worth your time.

01 — Recognition

A role of your stature.

You have spent a lifetime building experience, relationships, and judgment that most people in the room do not have. This puts all of it to work. Not a token title — a genuine leadership position in a national community, backed by Samarth's infrastructure and the respect of your peers.

02 — Contribution

Make people feel they matter.

The greatest thing you can give another person is the feeling that they still matter. As a Community Leader, you create that feeling every month, for real people in your community. For some of them, the gathering you host is the moment of the month.

03 — Headroom

Start small. Grow as far as you wish.

Begin with a single session a month — that is all we ask. Over time, take on as much as you want: mentor new leaders, shape national programmes, sit on our advisory. The runway is yours. That is Samarth Community's work. And it starts with you.

The role is light. The impact is not.

It starts with one community meet-up a month, in your city, or locality, with people like you. You host. You welcome people. You make newcomers feel they belong.

Your support team at Samarth handles everything else: the theme, the materials, the invitations. You bring what no organisation can supply: your presence, your wisdom, understanding of local context, and your genuine care for seniors around you.

As part of the Founding Cohort of 25 Samarth Community Leaders, you will also help shape what this programme becomes. Your experience and feedback will directly influence how we grow to 50 communities and beyond.

What a meet-up looks like.

A convenient time, a convenient accessible place like a restaurant or a mall, a club, or even a home. Fifteen to twenty people. You welcome them, introduce anyone new, and open a conversation: perhaps on staying active, perhaps on something that's been on everyone's mind. Some fun, a good time!

Samarth sends you the theme, the talking points, and any materials in advance. You adapt them as you see fit. The session runs for sixty to ninety minutes over tea or coffee. You close it. We follow up with members and handle the feedback.

That is one month's commitment. Everything else is optional.
